Jerome L. "Jerry" Sacher

Jerry Sacher, age 81 of Celina, Ohio passed away on May 3, 2017 in Pinehurst, N.C. He was born on June 22, 1935 in Celina, Ohio to Vernon “Mox” & Anna (Sunderhaus) Sacher, whom both preceded him in death. Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Cindy (Chittum) Sacher of Celina and his children; Paula and John Snowden of Dayton, Greg A. & Karry Sacher of Sugarcreek, Carla Sacher of Kettering, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded by three brothers and a sister. He graduated for the Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in 1952, then was in the United Sates Marine Corps until 1956. Jerry was a retired accountant. He was a member of the Celina Grand Lake Aerie of F.O.E. # 1291. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Military honors will follow the Mass on Saturday. A memorial gathering will be held from 5-8p.m, on Friday May 12, 2017, to celebrate Jerry’s life at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and before his prayer service on Saturday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paw Patrol at Pawpatroldayton.com.
