Adam Le Long, of Westerville, Ohio passed away on October 31, 2016 at the age of 43. He was born in Celina, Ohio on August 4, 1973. He graduated from Celina High School in 1991. He has been a member of the United States Air Force for 24 years, as active, reserve, and the Ohio National Guard. He has earned two degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. Adam was deployed around the world multiple times throughout his military career. He did a remote tour in Kunsan, Korea for a year. Then, served six tours to the Middle East. He was also a Fire Fighter for 17 years at Celina Fire Department and Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). Adam leaves behind wife, Lore (Weikel) Long, his wife of 16 years, daughter, Micah (Engle) and Derek Pease of Wapakoneta, son, Luke Matthew Long of Westerville. He also leaves behind Parents, Ruth (Mowery) and Jerry Long, and two sisters, Amanda and John Fischer of Ansonia and Sara and Ray Wood of Rockford. Adam was a wonderful husband, devoted father, brother, friend, and son. He was a brave and courageous Fireman and Air Force member. He greeted everyone with a warm and welcoming smile and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday Nov. 5, 2016 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza and Pastor Jay Scott officiating. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Friday Nov. 4, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and from 10-11a.m. on Saturday Nov. 5, 2016 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina.
