A Celebration of Life will be held for Alberta Marie Brandon at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, Ohio , April 27, 2014, Sunday at 3:00p.m. in the Church sanctuary. Everyone is invited to join the Brandon family in the fellowship hall for a meal immediately following the service.
Alberta, age 97, passed away Jan. 2, 2014 at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Facility in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on Oct. 2, 1916 in Celina to the late Lee & Gladys (Ryder) Fast.
Alberta Graduated from Celina High School in 1934. She was a life long member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and was active in the Celina History Club, the Daughters of American Revolution, and was a member of the Philomathean Reading Club in Bloomington, IL, where she resided with her daughter, Susan, for fourteen years. She loved to travel, was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge.
On November 9, 1935, she married William E. Brandon in Celina. He preceded her in death November 5, 1990. Her survivors include Two daughters, Judith Brandon (Late Bob Smith) Maumee, Ohio Susan Brandon ( Chares E. Davies ) Maumee and son William E. Brandon Jr. (Connie) along with two grandchildren, Julie Eskue (Gary) and Jill Boucaumont (Philippe); three great-grandsons William Zapata, Kevin Zapata and Cade Boucaumont, all of Missouri City, Texas. Her sister Betty Czerwiec (late Julian) also survives in Toledo. Additionally there are several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held January 4, 2014, at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, with Rev. Matt Reynolds, officiating.
Those wishing to make a Contribution in Alberta's memory are asked to direct these to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 119 E. Fulton St. Celina, Ohio 45822, where a special memorial in her name will be made in the near future.

Matt Reynolds officiating. A Memorial service will be held in April at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina. The Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
