Ida Bernice (Bollenbacher) Fahncke, age 100, formerly of Celina, died on
January 2, 2014 in Williamsburg, VA.

She was born on June 3, 1913 in Mercer County to Benjamin and Rosa ( Trisel )
Bollenbacher. On February 17, 1940 she married Herbert C. Fahncke, who
died on March 12, 2002.

Bernice is survived by two daughters, Rosalie (Charles) Frey, Williamsburg, VA, and
Connie (Paul) Thieroff, Ft. Wayne, IN; 2 granddaughters, and a sister, Clara (Ted) Brinkman, Celina.

Bernice was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roland Bollenbacher , Harry (Louise) Bollenbacher, and a sister, Martha (Glenn) Deitsch.

Bernice retired from Otis Hospital in June 1977. She was a marvelous cook and
loved using her sewing machine. Her home was always warm and welcoming to one and all.
