Catherine "Katy" H Jones, 83, of Springfield, Ohio and previously of Celina, passed away peacefully in her home on March 16, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on February 10, 1941 in New Bremen, Ohio to the late Herbert and Leona (Kettler) Donnerberg. She was preceded in death by her husband and partner, Clarence "Pete" Jones, a daughter and son-in-law, Deb and John Ander; a grandson, Jimmie; two brothers and four sisters; and her childhood best friend, Jim. She is survived by three daughters, Ann (Joe) Sink, Pat (Chris) Moore and Linda Walters; one son, Mark Epple; a step-son, Clarence Jones Jr.; one sister Donna Nagel; 8 grandchildren - Tara, Amber, Ashley (Mike), Fred, Katy (Matt), Melissa, Miranda, and Keith (Nikki), a grandson-in-law, Phil; 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Katy loved to be outdoors. Not one weed was safe. She also enjoyed spending time reading and painting. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family especially her great grandbabies who were the light of her life. There will be a private gathering at a future date.
