Cathy A. "Caat" Taylor, age 71 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.  She was born on June 22, 1954 in Dayton Ohio to Claire Jane Smith and her late father and step-mother William E. Jr. and Ella Mae (Kuck) Heffner.  On July 2, 2007 she married John H. Taylor, who survives living at their residence in Celina.

Cathy is also survived by; Three daughters Heather (Paul) Brotherton, Cathie (Jeremy) Bowen, Trisha (Greg) Youngker all of St. Marys, her son James (Stephanie) Frank II of Spencerville, four step-sons Mike Taylor, Matt Taylor, Nick Taylor all of Kingsford, Michigan, Chris Taylor of Michigan.  She leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Brothers Bill (Rhonda) Heffner of Dayton, Terry (Linda) Heffner of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Gary (Jenny) Heffner of St. Marys, step-brother Jeff (Jeannie) Heffner of Hilliard, step-sister Diane (Heffner) McDonald of Olney, Illinois and her half-sister Erin (Dale) Mayor of Versailles.

In addition to her father and step mother she was preceded in death by her sister Deborah Heffner.

She graduated from St. Marys High School with the Class of 1972.  She retired as a receptionist from Dr. T. C. Dozier's office in 2004.

A Memorial Gathering for friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.  Memorial contributions may be made to Celina Cares LLC. Address 1912 Meadowview Dr. Celina, OH. 45822
