Odessa Cleo (Massie) Loughridge, age 92 of 214 E. Fulton St. in Celina passed away at 12:01 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 23, 2015 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on March 4, 1923 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Rev. Marvin & Lura (Frank) Massie. On Dec. 9, 1945 she married James Loughridge, who died April 17, 1993. Survivors include her children Debra & Denny Adams of Mendon, Jim & Elaine Loughridge of Coldwater, Tom & Sandra Loughridge of Richmond, TX and Jerry & Delphina Loughridge of Wallis, TX, 13 grandchildren Matt & Wendy Loughridge of Coldwater, Jodi & Aaron Weigle of Coldwater, Mark & Jenny Loughridge of Celina, Brian & Jill Loughridge of Pittsburg, Ron & Renee Kahlig of Ft. Recovery, Tom Loughridge II of Houston, TX, Edward & Stephanie Loughridge of W.V., Josh Loughridge of Sugarland, TX, April & Tom Payne of Cincinnati, Amy & Neil Peacock of Sacramento, CA., Kelly & Vince Smith of Mendon, Tara & Don Mason of Winston-Salem, N.C., Denise Adams of Lake Mary, Fl, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Cleo graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1941. After high school she worked at Barr Co. behind the candy counter, than went to Goldstiens Children Shop. She took a break from working to raise her family while young and then went back to the children's shop and was an assistant buyer before she retired after 20 years of employment. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina. Gardening was her passion she was a great cook and loved baking. She enjoyed camping and all of those special trips to Florida and Texas to be with her family. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 29, 2015 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Reynolds and Rev. David Howell officiating officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 10:00-12:30 on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
