Craig Pontsler, age 64 of Celina, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on August 6, 1960 in Celina to Glenn and Marcile (Clouse) Pontsler who survive in Jefferson, Georgia. On June 24, 1989, he married Sallie Sites who survives in Celina. He is survived by his siblings Tim (Julia) Pontsler of Jefferson, GA, Tammy Dietsch of Mansfield, OH, Important in his life was a nephew and his wife, Seth and Amanda Kohnen of Rockford and their children, Micah and Maylee Kohnen who brought him so much joy. Craig graduated from Parkway High School with the class of 1978. He worked at Aeroquip until 1998 when he moved to Gainesville, Georgia where he was self-employed. After he retired in 2015, he moved back to Ohio. He enjoyed helping Seth with his farming operation. In keeping with his wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
