Cyril John "Cy" Stelzer, age 84 of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on November 18, 1940 to the late Edwin and Alma (Grevenkamp) Stelzer in Cassella. He is survived by his loving children Betsy (John) Ellinger of Kenneth City, FL, Terry (Melissa) Stelzer of Celina, Michael Stelzer of Celina, Kelly (Christopher) Pax of Celina, Shelly Stelzer of Union City, three grandchildren Andrew (Andrea) Ellinger, Jennifer Ellinger, Austin Stelzer, two great grandchildren Damon Ellinger, Rowan Ellinger, sister Mary Broeker, and brother Paul (Linda) Stelzer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Dustin Stelzer, grandson Kyle Pax, brother Arthur Stelzer, and brother-in-law Ralph Broeker. Cy retired from Mersman Furniture after working there from 1964-1995. He was a member of the Mercer County Sportsman association and the Celina Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He enjoyed target shooting and trap shooting. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home and an hour before services on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Sportsman Association and the Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund.
