Dorthy G. Schroyer, age 92, formerly of 218 N. Lake St. in Celina, passed away at 3:05a.m. on Tuesday Jan 4, 2011 at the Miller House in Celina. She was born on Dec. 5, 1918 in Celina, Ohio to the late Ray & Marie (Fleenor) Dock. On June 7, 1942 she married Dallas P. Schroyer, who died Oct. 19, 2002. Survivors include her children Melba Milak of Cape Hatteras, N.C., Margie Manbeck of Celina, and Richard & Nancy Schroyer of Lima, 5 Grandchildren Rusty Miller, Scott Miller, Brad Miller, Laura Schroyer, Julie Schroyer, 6 Great-Grandchildren Josh Miller, Briar Miller, Hannah Miller, Brianna Miller, Molly Miller, and Amanda Miller. She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law Jack Milak, Dale Manbeck, sisters Betty Snider and an infant sister Faryl Faye Dock, brothers Bevan Dock, Lee Dock and Harold Dock. Dorthy graduated from Celina High School in 1936. She was a bookkeeper for M. L. Spicer & Sons in Celina and Francis Furniture in Celina. She was a member of the Wabash United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday Jan 7, 2011 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. James Sweigart officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. on Thursday Jan 6, 2011 and one hour before services at the funeral Home.
