Obituary

Earl R. Hainline Sr., age 75 of 6010 State Route 117 in Rockford, Ohio passed away at 3:48 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 24, 2014 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born on Nov. 15, 1938 in rural Celina to the late Carl E. & Evelyn (Norris) Hainline. On June 7, 1958 he married Connie Heath, who lives in Rockford. Also surviving are his children Linda & Kevin Bom of Pulaski, NY, Earl Jr.Hainline of Longview, WA & Maria Hainline of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rick Hainline of Van Wert, Michael Hainline of Rockford, Patricia & Sean Shaw of Celina, son-in-law Lanny Spahr of Greenville, grandchildren Andrew Ruffini, Nathan Ruffini, Stefan Ruffini, Elizabeth & Stas Sergienko, Isaac Hainline & Tabby Burkholder, Evelyn & Matt Gates, Blazin Spahr, Amber & Michael Mangen, Jared Spahr, Matthew Andrews, Kayla Andrews, 10 great grandchildren, sister Luella Garrett of Van Wert and a sister-in-law Mary Mohler of Missouri. He was preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Spahr, daughter-in-law Carolyn Hainline, two grandchildren Phillip Spahr, De'Anna Spahr, two great grandchildren, his brother Duane Hainline and an infant sister Luetta Hainline. He graduated from Van Wert High School with the Class of 1957. Earl served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1960 in Germany. He retired from Navistar-International in 1992, after 30 years of employment, as a group leader in the painting department in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Springfield, Ohio. Earl was a gun collector and a proud member of the N.R.A. and he was little league Baseball coach in Scott, Ohio. A memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 27, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Stewart Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 on Saturday at the funeral Home.
