Evelyn Kay (Grieshop) Ahrns, age 44 of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at her residence in Celina. She was born on July 17, 1978 to James and Kay (Steinlage) Grieshop in Portland, Indiana. On November 3, 2018, she married Gerard Ahrns who survives in Celina. She is also survived by her stepson Jared Ahrns of Celina, stepdaughter Jessica Ahrns of Columbus, brother Mark Grieshop of Decatur, IN, and sister Janelle (Matt) Lennartz of Vandalia. She is preceded in death by her nephew Bartholomew Lennartz and niece AnaBella Lennartz. Evelyn graduated from Jay County High School in Portland with the class of 1997. She was a member of the Jay County Marching Patriot Band and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
