Gerald Lee "Buggs" Chrisman, age 85, of 4579 St. Rte. 29 in Celina, Ohio passed away at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at his residence with his family. He was born on Aug. 18, 1928 in Celina, Ohio to the late Ercel & Mary (Kincaid) Chrisman-Humbert. On Dec. 21, 1965 he married Faye Wilson, who survives. Also surviving are his four sons & daughters-in-law, Joe & Bev Westerfield of Marysville, Pastor Jerry & Sarita Westerfield of Elizabethtown, KY, Mike & Sandy Chrisman of Celina, Gary Chrisman of Michigan, four daughters & sons-in-law Diane & John Kochert of Celina, Patty & Ken Alberino of Cleveland, Anita & Tye Spengler of Celina, Candy Snyder of Troy, 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Tim Chrisman, brothers Junior Chrisman, Dale Chrisman, Bill Chrisman and Gene Chrisman. Buggs attended Celina High School. He owned and operated South Side Body Shop in Celina. He was a member of the Celina Eagles, Celina Moose Lodge, the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713. Buggs enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and watching Races at Eldora Speedway. Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Jerry Westerfield officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Saturday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home.
