Janice E. Albright, age 83 of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Mercy Health -St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was born on September 11, 1938 in Muncie, IN to the late Claude A. & Virginia L. (Hall) Green. On August 7, 1969, she married William E. Albright and he passed away on April 13, 2016. She is survived by 5 children Kandy Hasenjager of Celina, Cindy (Bill) Lovejoy of Montpelier, Jeff (Sharon) Link of Celina, Chris (Tina) Link of Montpelier, Sam (Devona) Albright of Rockford; 15 grandchildren Barry Albright, Mike Wessel, Heather Wessel, Matt Meyer, Dusty Meyer, Neal Link, Amy Kittle, Laura Schwartz, Eric Link, Jay Link, Connor Link, Paige Ferguson, Kami Newland, Zach Albright, Tori Albright; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Nadine (Nelson) Gibbs, Vicki Heath and a brother Richard Green. She is preceded in death by a step-son Randy Albright and a sister-in-law Trina Green. Janice graduated from Muncie Central High School with the class of 1956. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Van Wert where she was employed. She and her husband raced harness horses from 1968-2016. They were also rural carriers delivering the Daily Standard. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to work outside and paint and was proud to show her accomplishments. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and 9:00 -10:00 a.m. on Friday at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
