Karen Sue Stief, age 64, of 500 W. Wayne St. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 8:15a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Colonial Nursing Center in Rockford, Ohio. She was born on August 17, 1949 in Ft. Wayne , Indiana to the late William and Donna (Romary) Thomas. On May 15, 1993, she married Larry Stief of Celina. Also surviving is her brother & sister-in-law William & Stephanie Thomas, Indianapolis, IN and a Niece Emily Schroeder, San Bernardino, CA.
Karen graduated from Southside High School, Ft. Wayne, IN, in 1967. She Recieved her Bachalors Degree in nursing from Indiana University and received her Masters Degree from the University of Florida.
She retired from nursing in 1993.
