Larry L. Peggs, age 71, of 137 Margo Lane, Celina OH, died on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster, Ohio. He was born November 11, 1939 in Montezuma OH to Herman and Rose (Donovan) Peggs. On January 12, 1972 he married Rebecca Peggs (Finch) and she survives in Celina, Ohio. Larry is survived by wife, three children Deb & Greg Joseph of Cridersville, Ohio, Diana McVicker of Lima, Ohio and Keith & Charlotte Peggs of Chickasaw, Ohio, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Six siblings, Mary Ann Short of Pennsylvania, Nancy Fowler of Celina, Ohio, Susie Peggs of Celina, Ohio, Cathy & Charles Chaney of St. Marys, Ohio, David Peggs of Montezuma, Ohio and Billy & Linda Peggs of Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Edwin Peggs, a son-in-law Donald McVicker a great-grandchild, two brothers Don Peggs & Dale Peggs, two sisters Jean Peggs and Sharon Markley and a brother-in-law John Short. He was a member of Montezuma Church of Christ, veteran of the US Navy serving in the Secret Service. He retired from Moeller Trucking in Maria Stein, Ohio. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, OH with Rev. John Nunnally, officiating.
