Leokadia Poplaski, age 86, of Celina, Ohio passed awayat 6:10p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Celina Manor Nursing Home Celina, Ohio. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Budzyn Chodzierz, Poland , to the late Stanislaw "Stanley" and Zofia "Sophie" (Gorzna) Gaszczak. Leokodia is survived by her sister Anna Suchodomska of Poland and a niece Zofia Jarochiewicz of Poland. She was preceded in death by her son, three brother and three sisters. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and she became a Naturalized Citizen on June 25, 1976. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday May 31, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating.
