Lindain James
John "Outlaw" Brehm
August 30, 1947 – January 10, 2025
Lindain James John "Outlaw" Brehm, age 77 of Celina, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Briarwood Living Facility in Coldwater, Ohio, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on August 30, 1947 to the late Alvin Lee and Virginia Lee (Shaner) Brehm in Celina, Ohio. On June 28, 1969, he married Joan Louise Garwood who survives residing in Celina. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Autumn, and son-in-law Tyler Goldberg who reside in New Tazewell, TN. He has five brothers and one sister who are also surviving. Lindain graduated from Parkway High School with the class of 1965. He was a farmer and employed at New Idea in Coldwater for thirty-four years and after eight years at Red Gold in Geneva, Indiana he retired in 2010. He was an avid hunter harvesting white-tailed deer, coyotes, fox, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, doves and pigeons. Lindain also enjoyed a good day on the water catching bluegills, crappies, smallmouth bass and anything else that would put up a good fight. He was a member of the Celina Eagles Aerie # 1291 for 60 years, a member of the NRA, the Mercer County Farm Bureau and the Ohio Big Buck Club. He harvested four bucks that qualified in Ohio and was very proud of his hunting adventures. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Husted officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul's Country Church Cemetery in Rockford. Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home. The Brehm family requests that everyone wishing to attend Lindain's services dresses casually.
