Lola Mae Shaner, age 87, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Friday Dec. 30, 2016 at her residence in Celina. She was born on Jan. 21, 1929 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Kenneth & Mildred (Riley) Felver. On June 10, 1945 she married Charles R. Shaner, who died Nov. 13, 1989. Survivors include her sons Phillip & Carol Shaner of St. Marys, Carl Shaner of Celina, David Shaner of St. Marys, Leonard Shaner and Sue of Eustis, Florida, a daughter Cathy & Terry Ruhenkamp of New Bremen, 5 grandchildren; Josh, Jeremiah, Carol, Stacey, Karen, 3 step grandchildren; Doug, Dallas, Troy, brothers James (Janice) Felver of Wapakoneta and her sister Norma of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son Keith Edward Shaner, sisters Marie Felver and Wilma Brotherwood and her brothers Leroy Felver and Jerry Felver. Lola retired from Huffy's Bicycle Plant in Celina after 26 years of service. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina with Richard Van Horn officiating.
