Lori Hayes, age 62 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Dec. 26, 2016 at the Briarwood Village in Coldwater. She was born on March 6, 1954 in Celina, Ohio to the late Almond & Marie Kessler Schultz. On Sept. 8, 1973 she married Mike Hayes, who survives in Celina. Also surviving are her six daughters and sons-in-law; Martha & Martin Johnston of Circleville, Kati & Matt Heckler of Celina, Ellen & Mark Bash of Rockford, Cora & Jamie Tuttle of Haydenville, Sara & Justin Bruggeman of Coldwater and Megan & Joe Heitbrink of St. Henry and her 13 Grandchildren. Lori graduated with honors from Celina High School with the Class of 1972, was a homemaker and employed at Hart's and then worked at Cooper Farm's for 23 years and retired in 2015. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of God where she taught Sunday School and conducted Bible studies. She was a volunteer at the Call Food Pantry's Tuesday night dinner's and the Mt Carmel Churches pancake breakfast. She loved to shop, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday Dec. 29, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Mark Wakeland officiating. Burial will follow at the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 28, 2016 and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning at the funeral home.
