Mabel L. Williams, age 92, of 125 S. Lake St. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 10:55p.m. on Monday, January 09, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital Dayton, Ohio. She was born on September 20, 1919 in Piqua , Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Murphy) Chaney. On Oct. 22, 1938 she married Lewis Williams, who died Jan 30, 1987.
Mabel is survived by: sons & daughters-in-law Mike & Nancy Williams of New Bremen, Pat & Mary Williams of St. Marys, daughters & sons-in-law Sonnie & Rev. Gerald Gallaway of Delton, MI., Sharon & Mike McKirnan of Celina, Susan & Robert Sullivan of St. Marys, 17 Grandchildren , 36 Great -Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Virgil Chaney, Robert Chaney and Ralph Chaney and her sister Reva Sanders. Mabel attended the Hillsdale United Brethren Church in St. Marys.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday Jan13, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Gerald Gallaway officiating.
