Mahan J. "Jerry" Harris, age 81, of 421 E. Fulton St. and Formerly of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away at 9:10a.m., on Friday Sept. 6, 2013, at The Gardens at Celina. Jerry was born on Nov. 26, 1931 in Weirton W.V. to the late Manch & Ruby (Sheppard) Harris. Survivors include his wife Nancy (Waugh) Harris of Celina, son Michael & Teresa Harris of Celina, daughter Jeri VanTrees of St. Mary, grandchildren Cassandra & Randy Bergman, Tesla VanTrees, Jacob VanTrees, Jayden VanTrees, M. Adrein & Michelle Harris, Areil Harris and Angelica Harris. He was preceded in death by his sister & brother-in-law Hazel & John Lipon. Jerry served his country in the United States Army in the Airborne Division. He retired in 1990 from the Weirton Steel Mill in Weirton West Virginia.
