Marguerite C. Baker, age 100, formerly of 101 E. Oak St. in Celina, passed away at 9:15p.m. on Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 5, 1913 in Chattanooga, Ohio, to the late Jacob & Catherine (Linn) Baker. Survivors include her brother-in-law Robert Mousseau of Delton, MI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ernest Baker, Edgar Baker, Victor Baker and her sisters Delores Palmer and Genevieve Mousseau . She was a housekeeper for Lillian Goldstein for 47 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Celina, a member of the Mercer County Council on Aging and she was the Honorary President of the Celina Flower Club. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 1, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church of Celina, with Rev. Dave Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Rockford. Friends may call from 9-11a.m. on Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Celina.
