Mary E. Sheets, age 84, formerly of 607 Maple St. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 12:05p.m. on April 13, 2012 at the Miller House in Celina. She was born on October 8, 1927 to the late George O. & Alma B. (Church) Weidman in Loudonville, Ohio. On June 17, 1948 she married William Sheets, who died June 3, 1994. Survivors include her son George & Kathy Sheets of Sulphur Springs, daughters Natalie Sue & Steve Huelsman of Leesburg, Virginia, Karen & Jerry Homan of St. Henry, 4 grandchildren Brady & Lorena Sheets, Kyle Homan, Kelsey Huelsman, Trent Homan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother George "Ollie" Weidman. Mary graduated from Celina High School in 1945. She was employed at Citizens Commercial Bank for 40 years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, she taught Sunday School at the Church for 13 years, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars # 91 of Celina. Funeral services will be held at10:30a.m. on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 3-8p.m. on Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
