Mary Lou Thobe-Homan,age 77, of Celina, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by her family on Friday, April 24, 2015 from the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina. She was born on January 12, 1938 in Cassella , Ohio to the late Urban and Agatha (Tumbusch) Frenzer.
Mary is survived by: daughters; Cindy Thobe and Matt Cummans of St. Marys Christina Silvers of Knoxville, Tenn, brothers & sisters-in-law; Dave & Karen Frenzer of Celina, Joe & Carol Frenzer of St. Henry, sisters & brothers-in-law; Phyllis & Danny Martin of Celina, Joan & John Reader of Wapakoneta, Ruth & Vernie Drees of Ft. Loramie. She was preceded in death by: 1st husband Francis Thobe, Dec'd, 2nd husband Dallas Homan.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She retired after 20 years of employment from the Celina Manor & Briarwood Village in Coldwater as a Dietician. After retiring she work for in the Deli department at the Chief Supermarket in Coldwater. Mary Lou enjoyed playing bingo with the Senior Citizens, reading and attending all of the local festivals.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. Memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation 39 Broadway, Suite #2700 New York, New York 10006 212-668-1000.
