Odette Gae Bailey, age 72 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 20th 2019 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St Marys. She was born on September 6th 1946 in Celina Ohio to the late John F. and Agnes (Hinton) Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her sisters and brother in law Oressa (Dale) York and Donetta Bailey. Survivors include her neice and nephews, Scott (Sheree) York of St. John, US Virgin Islands, Christopher (Brad Roediger) York of Celina Ohio, Tiffany (Lori Pastuszak) York of Wheaton, Illinois. A great nephew Logan (Tessa Louis) York and great great nephew Harbor York of St John, US Virgin Islands. Odette graduated from Ohio Northern University and worked as a special education teacher for the Shawnee public schools in Lima, Ohio. Upon retiring, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating on Grand Lake, traveling, knitting and needlepoint. She was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina. A private famliy service will be held in North Grove cemetery in Celina. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday March 2nd, 2019 at Idlewild St. Marys Outing Club. 6800 Idlewild Rd, Celina, Ohio.
