Rita M. Heindel, age 74, of Celina, died March 21, 2014 at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima. She was born March 15, 1940 in Delphos to the late Carl & Isabell (Hammons) Wallen. On June 28, 1959 she married Marion Heindel who survives in Celina. She is also survived by five daughters, Wanda & Ron Lange of Osgood, Donna & Paul Wagner of Townville, South Carolina, Karen Heindel of Celina, Diana & Jeff Bailey of Manassas, Virginia, and Sandy Baldwin of Toledo, twelve grandchildren, two sisters, Pat Flore of Celina and Linda Heindel of Delphos, a brother, Ron & Sharon Foust of Delphos, in-laws, Evelyn & George Wilder of Guatemala, Elnora Levi of Columbus, Jim & Ella Heindel of Celina, Bill & Billie Jo Heindel of Mercer, David & Rose Heindel of Panama City, Florida, and Mark & Jane Heindel of Celina, and a step-brother-in-law, Dano Donavan. She is also preceded in death by her step-father, Donald Foust, and in-laws, Ray Flore and Leo Levi. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, and its Friendship Circle, she was a 1958 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School, was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed time with her family, crafts and giving to others. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina and on Monday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
