Ruth A. Byers, age 91, of 925 Wilkins St. in Celina, passed away at 1:40p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2012 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 11, 1921, Center Township in Mercer County to the late Oscar & Opal (Fleenor) Buck. On June 6, 1949 she married James Marion Byers, who passed away in 1955. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law Larry & Gail Byers of Celina, daughter Linda Neves of Klamath Falls, OR, 3 Grandchildren Ryan & Heather Byers, Kendra & Eric Gerker, Jason Neves, 3 Great Grandchildren, brother Billie Buck of Celina, sisters and brothers-in-law Alice Baucher of Celina, Janet Sue & Dick Garwood of Celina, sisters-in-law Ilene Buck of St Marys and Laura Buck of Celina. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph Buck, Lisle "Pete" Buck, sister & brothers-in-law Helen & Olen Brandon, Lester Baucher and her sister-in-law Beulah Buck. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Saturday Oct. 20, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Friday and 1 Hour before services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
