Sue Ann (Abery) Schulte, age 77 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Monday Nov. 24, 2014 at home in Celina. She was born on July 6, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John Earl & Ada ( Wallace) Abery. On Oct. 13, 2001 she married Norbert F. Schulte, who died Aug. 11, 2002. Survivors include her two daughters & Son-in-law Kimberly & Todd Knechtly, Angela Putnam, four grandchildren Christopher & Taylor Moore, Zachary Lewis, Kyle Knechtly, Kayla Knechtly, four great grandchildren Damien, Kaleb, Kaden and Abery all of Centerville. Sue graduated from Roosevelt High School with the Class of 1955. She was formerly employed at the Dayton V. A. Hospital for 26 years and then was employed by the Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. Sue was President of the V.F.W. Auxiliary form 2000 to 2013. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, the Celina American Legion Aux. Post #210, Celina V.F.W. Aux. Post #5713, Celina Moose Lodge and the Celina Eagles. Sue was loved by her friends in the Community and will be remembered for her giving spirit, as she volunteered for numerous church activities, V.F.W. activities and at the Mercer County Community Hospital for years. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Nov.29, 2014 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina. Friends may call from 4-8p.m. on Friday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and on Saturday 1 hour before services at the Church.
