Timothy Shawn Fitzsimmons, age 63 of Van Wert, Ohio passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at his residence in Van Wert. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Samuel and Ellen (Best) Fitzsimmons. He is survived by two children; Cory Fitzsimmons of Findlay, Valerie Fitzsimmons of Celina, one grandson Nicholas Fitzsimmons of Van Wert, the mother of his children Laura J. Fitzsimmons of Van Wert, his sister-in-law Jean Fitzsimmons of Beavercreek and a nephew Scott (Erica) Fitzsimmons of Waynesville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Samuel Fitzsimmons. Timothy graduated from Van Wert High School with the Class of 1976. He was formerly employed at the Tecumseh Packaging Solutions in Van Wert. Private family graveside services will be held in the Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with Rev. Randy Christian officiating.
