Louise E. (Gregory) Fawcett

Louise E. Fawcett, age 80, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at the Gardens at Celina. She was born on January 30, 1940 in LeRoy, Michigan to the late Bernard and Vera (Dean) Gregory. On November 25, 1961, she married John T. Fawcett, who died July 26, 2016. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John T. “Jack” (Rosa) Fawcett of Spartanburg, S.C., and her daughter and son-in-law Sandra (Ken) Schoch of White Cloud, MI, six grandchildren; Dylan Schoch, Elysa Fawcett, Jenna Fawcett, Sam Schoch, Michelle Dean, Karen (Russ) Rudy, eight great grandchildren, brother Stanley Gregory of LeRoy, MI, two sisters Brenda Yusko of Grand Rapids, MI, and Kay Phaneuf of Lansing, MI.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sister-in-law Junior (Donna) Gregory, Thomas Gregory, sister-in-law Lorena Gregory, and brothers-in-law George Yusko and Robert Phaneuf.
Louise graduated from the LeRoy High School, with the Class of 1958. She was a Homemaker and was formerly employed as a Clerk at the Wilson Shoe Store in Celina. She was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina. She was also a member of the Sunshine Sisters choir and a Lay Minister visiting shut ins and people at nursing homes. She loved sending cards. She was a loving and caring woman who always had a smile on her face and who would help anyone in need.
Private family services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Louise will be buried in Deepdale Memorial Park in Lansing, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Lake United Methodist Church 119 E. Fulton St, Celina, OH 45822.
