I just received notice of Don's passing. And I pray for all of Don's friends and family at this time. My friendship with Don started a little ways back when Jeremy was @ OSU. But it was a package deal. "Don and Jerry". I first met them at Woody's Sports Bar @ home games. Over the course of time, I was introduced to their wives and the rest of the entourage that made Woody's their home at every home game. I spent 20 yrs in Columbus and made the decesion to move to Orlando, FL. No matter how bad my work week was, I knew Don and Jerry would be at Woody's on Friday night before a home game. That alway's put a smile on my face. I remember a weekend about 6 yrs ago. It was an OSU night game. I had to attend a wedding in Huntington, IN. On way there, I stopped at the Elks Club. I threw out Don's name and they signed me in. The next day on my way back, I stopped at the Moose. They signed me in. And 2 yrs ago when I moved to FL, he had the bartentender call me to say hello. That was cool. Rest in peace Don. I will miss you when I am in Columbus for the Michigan game.

I remember Donny so well from our days growing up in Celina. He lived "down the alley" from our house and was a close playmate of my little brother, Dick. Donny was a kid with a winning personality, and although I have not seen him in decades, it sounds like he became and adult version of what he was as a child--a warm, outgoing guy. I am sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family, especially to Carol and Bob, whom I also remember well.

Karen, Jeremy and Family Even though I will see you at the viewing I first want say how sorry I am for your loss. There is not a better guy then Donnie U. I always admired his happy go lucky attitude and also the way he carried himself as a businessman. I will miss him as a friend, at the KofC Hall after games or for Buckeye games or for that cup of coffee that I always got at Four U. I know you both are strong people but if there is anything I can do for you, Please ask. It is the least I can do.

There was not a better person than Don Uhlenhake. He always had a smile and was always up beat. We bought packaging from Don in the early 90's and we remained friends ever since. Don taught me if you are going to give your customers golf balls, make sure they are the best! We can't be there this week, but our thoughts and prayers are with Karen, Jeremy, Bob, and the entire family. So long big D!

I want to offer my deepest sympathy for the loss of Don. I have become a friend of his and Jeremy over the years while playing in the member guest golf tournament at Belmont Hills CC. I enjoyed being around both Don and Jeremy. I can never remember a time when Don was not laughing or had a smile on his face. I am going to miss him greatly. To the family may God put His arms around you and get you though this time of healing. I will have some masses said for Don at my local parish here in the DFW area of TX. God has definitely added an asset with Don in Heaven
