Evelyn Carol ((Westerbeck)) Kittle

Evelyn Carol Kittle, age 93 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Garden of Celina.  She was born on January 25, 1928 to the late Arnold and Ora (Schlegel) Westerbeck in Fryburg, Ohio.  On May 19, 1947, she married Robert Franklin Kittle who preceded her in death on July 22, 2005.  She is survived by her children Ronald Kittle of Celina, Cheryl (Bill) Black of Celina, Michael (Janet) Kittle of St. Mary’s, Sandra Kittle of Celina, twelve Grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, sisters Ruth Warner of Reno, NV and Janet “Becky” Cooper Celina.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and son-in-law Cynthia (Harold) Nash, sister and brothers-in-law Kathryn (Kenneth) Rohrback, Don Warner, and James Cooper.
She graduated from New Bremen high school with the class of 1946.  She was a member of the St. Peters United Church of Christ in New Bremen and she was formerly employed at Reynolds & Reynolds where she retired in 2000 after 15 years of employment.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and raising flowers. She loved her family and her dog Sadie.
Private family funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral home, with Rev. Rick Brosher officiating.  Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.  Friends may call one hour before services on Saturday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home.  Attendees are required to wear masks, practice social distancing and follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of donor’s choice.
