She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Ronald Allen (Shirley) Short, daughters; Pamela Sue Bean, Ann Marie Short all of Celina, Five grandchildren; Gage Ryan Short, Megan Short, Victoria Matthews, Ridge Matthews, Kenneth Short, three great grandchildren; Sylus Dean, Sereniti, Mason and her brother-in-law Richard Tillman of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters and brother-in-law Susan (Wayne) Poppe and Judy Tillman. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Church of God in Celina. Shirley retired from Relizon in Coldwater in 2017. She enjoyed Bowling, playing volleyball and was very active with the Mercer County Church Dart Ball League. Shirley was also an avid Celina Bulldog supporter and enjoyed attending all of the Celina High School sporting events and spending time with Gage. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. on Thursday Dec. 27, 2018 at the Mt. Tabor Church of God in Celina, with Rev. Darwin Dunten and Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 26, 2018 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and a hour before services at the Church, on Thursday.
